I have two decades of experience in Natural Language Processing, as an academic researcher, NLP engineer and CTO.
- I’ve built AI software and models for a variety of tasks, from search to information extraction and classification.
- I’ve applied NLP in a range of sectors, including finance, education, healthcare, e-commerce, etc.
- I’ve contributed to open-source software and published freely available NLP models that have been downloaded millions of times.
- I’m the organizer of the Belgium NLP Meetup, a community of AI professionals with over 2,600 members.
Talks & Workshops
I often give talks and workshops on generative AI, for companies as well as universities. I also teach courses on creative writing with AI in collaboration with Creatief Schrijven and Wisper in Belgium.
